We converted our 90 Gallon tank over from Freshwater to Saltwater in September 2008.  We decided we wanted more variety and were up for a challange.  We had never done Saltwater and all I can say it has been fun, exciting and…… frustrating at times but we love it :)   We joined a Reef Club (Puget Sound Aquarium Society) to help us learn more and we are so glad we did.  We have met some really cool people plus it’s a ton of fun.  Our kids love the tank and…. have learned alot they especially love explaining things to family and friends.  We started this blog up for one a record for us but two to showcase our tank to friends and family and maybe…… someone might find any information we post useful :)   Feel free to look around and hey if you want to leave us a comment :)   We are still changing stuff and adding stuff so check back often!!!

I tried saltwater and it was just too time consuming. I just feed my cichlids and exotic plecos the tank basically maintains itself. Freshwater is great for lazy people!!
