Well TGIF!!!!! Yup it’s Friday this week went by fast but things are doing really good now in the 90 gallon. No signs of Ich anymore and the fish I said before are still all surviving still and seem to be back to their old selves. We originally had the 37 gallon a freshwater tank and actually had taken down the 10 gallon but with the outbreak of Ich in our 90 gallon we decided to switch the 37 gallon over to saltwater fish only so that if we had another break out we could take the fish out of the 90 and put them in the 37 and be able to treat them without having to worry about harming the rest of the 90 gallon tank. So last weekend we did the switch. We set the 10 gallon back up transfered all the freshwater fish over to it and switched everything in the 37 to saltwater. We picked up a Reef Octopus Skimmer down at Blue Sierra and the switchover was complete. We have added some fish to the 37 gallon and right now there is one rock in there, some black sand but we plan on getting just some base rock building a tall like pillar with it and getting some of the realistic fake anenomes and coral decorations to put in. We cannot put real corals and anenomes because if we have to treat the fish it would kill them, we are keeping this tank strictly fish only. Also when we do get anymore fish for the 90 gallon they will spend their first 4-6 weeks in the 37 gallon to make sure they are disease free. I did take some pics yesterday and today of the tanks but I am on my laptop actually right now and the pics are on our main PC so….. I will have to post them later. Hubby last week ran a CAT 5 line for the Aqua Controller we were going to go wireless with it because of it’s location it is no where near the modem and wireless router. We just thought it was a waste of money to try to go wireless with it. A wireless bridge costs $70 and for way cheaper we could run a line so…. hubby did. Now my Aqua Controller is all hooked up to the webserver and software and I so happy
Thank you Silly:) Tomorrow we have a meeting for the PSAS which should be a good one. It’s all about modding your skimmer. We really have no need to mood our skimmers ours are way more then we actually need for our tanks but I want to see how it’s done. They are also having a give away of a really cool skimmer that the club bought I wouldn’t mind getting it if we ever go to a sump(they are giving away a sump skimmer). They are also having a door raffle and those are always good
Well that’s it for now I will hopefully remember to post some pics later on I got some cool ones of the Blenny in it’s favorite hangout, our baby anenome, green birdsnest, green mushrooms and our new puffer in the 37 gallon.
