     All parameters are tested weekly.  We use Seachem products to keep everything in check.  We are currently using Reef Buider, Reef Buffer, Reef Advantage Calcium and Reef Plus.  We are also running Carbon, Phosguard and Purigen in our canister filter.

 

     We clean the skimmer collection cup twice a week, the canister filter gets checked weekly, and general cleaning and powerheads gets cleaned when necessary usually once a week.  We do about a 5-10% water change weekly.

     On the 37 Gallon Saltwater Fish Only tank we do not add calcium but all the other elements we do.  There is no need to add calcium because well it’s fish only lol.  Instant Ocean Salt already has some in it and since the fish don’t really need it there’s no reason to add it.
